It’s only a couple of weeks since Breaking Bad mastermind Vince Gilligan was in the country, charming everyone with his Southern gentleman thing and COMPLETELY FORGETTING TO TELL US HE HAD A NEW SHOW COMING OUT SOON. Not cool, Vince.
We can’t stay mad for long, though. Not when we really wanna watch this show: Battle Creek, which he’s made with House creator David Shore.
There’s a few crucial details missing – like when it’ll premiere – but we do know that Battle Creek will star Josh Duhamel (Transformers, Win A Date With Tad Hamilton!) as a big city FBI agent who’s unwillingly partnered with small town detective, played by Dean Winters (Law & Order: SVU, 30 Rock). It’ll reportedly feature the two detectives “using cynicism, guile and deception” to clean up the streets of Battle Creek. We’ve already got our fingers crossed for a Jesse Pinkman cameo.
