‘Breaking Bad’ Fans Still Won’t Quit Hurling Pizza Onto Walter White’s Roof

It’s one of the most iconic pieces of ad-lib frustration captured in television history, but Walter White’s infamous pizza toss on Breaking Bad is giving the show’s fans a bad rep in real life.

According to the co-owner of Albuquerque’s Breaking Bad RV Tours (of course that’s a thing), young fans of the show are emulating their Wallabee-wearing hero by hurling cheesy goodness onto the roof of the house.
This is a problem, as it’s a real, normal house, and a real, normal couple live there.
Tour operator Frank Sandoval has often had the dubious honour of taking pizza off the roof; despite the show’s creator Vince Gilligan calling out fans who think they’re being ~so edgy~ with their fromage homage, Sandoval still regularly removes the stray slices.
Earlier, the home owner claimed if the throwings didn’t stop, he would “sit outside with a shotgun in a rocking chair. You know, like Granny from ‘Beverly Hillbillies.’”  At this point, there’s obviously only one reasonable warning left.

In a podcast, Gilligan said “there is nothing funny or original or cool about throwing pizzas on this lady’s roof.”
All very true, as the aftermath of leaving your favourite thin-crust on a roof in sunny New Mexico is probably not very pleasant. There’s no need to do it anyway, seeing as we can relive the meth kingpin’s greatest moment in perpetuity below:
