Bindi Irwin Confirms She’ll Appear On U.S. ‘Dancing With The Stars’

Assume the goddamn brace position, people, because this is not a drill, this is happening: Bindi Irwin has officially joined the cast of the next season of U.S. Dancing With The Stars.

The 17-year-old will relocate to Los Angeles for the duration of the show’s 21st season, and she broke the news on Good Morning America in characteristically adorbs fashion:

“This is completely different to anything I have ever done in my life,” she told GMA. “I am used to wrangling crocodiles.”
“I have to tell you though, the judges scare me more than crocodiles. They are so knowledgeable. They’re supreme athletes. I’m just this girl from Australia who’s used to crocs so give me a 15-foot crocodile any day.”
Bindi, something of a seasoned TV personality at this point, says that her time on the show will be all about courage and strength and inspiring others and cementing a place in the lucrative U.S. market.
“I just hope my dance partner, whoever it is, is very patient and likes animals, because you never know what I’m going to bring to rehearsal,” she added. STAHP. <3
The only question now is how many weeks they’ll hold off until they dress her up in some bizarre Crocodile Dundee-esque ‘Strayan number. The wait to find out is figuratively killing us.
