Bindi’s absolutely killing it on the reality show; she’s pulled out some spectacular routines, she’s worked damn hard, and she’s being touted as ~tha winner~.
But, her dance partner Derek Hough had a surprise in the bank for their latest routine, which was a freestyle performance – he projected an image of Bindi and her late father, Steve Irwin, on a screen behind the pair while they were dancing.
While using an image of someone’s deceased family member might seem a pretty risky move, it was to signify that the Crocodile Hunter is, and has always been, looking over Bindi in her time in the competition.
