Like engagements on Chrissy day, Blair Waldorf and Dan Humphrey and 2016 and positivity, some things just don’t mesh well together. Oh yeah, and parents and social media. That’s a bloody bad mix, something Beyoncé‘s mumma, Tina Lawson, proved on Instagram this week.
The 62-year-old business woman, fashion designer and OG stage mum cooked it when she came across a video of her prized possession Bey performing with Jennifer Hudson, and liked a comment that said “Jhud sounds horrible“.
Oh mumma, literally.
Rather than going denial mode on her cock-up, Tina acknowledged it head-on with a standard Insta post that had zero relevance to the photo / video she’d just put up. Her choice? A sunset video with a novel of an explainer to her girl Jhud. It’s appropriate in the same way a car selfie has nothing to do with Father’s Day.
