Bella Hadid and The Weeknd apparently can’t stay away from each-other, with reports that the couple have rekindled their relationship again, after their most recent break-up in August.
According to news and current affairs publication E!, Hadid recently celebrated her 23rd birthday in New York with her mum Yolanda, sister Gigi, brother Anwar and his girlfriend Dua Lipa.
Her old flame was also there, and a source said:
“Abel met up with Bella last night for her [birthday] celebration at L’Avenue. He was with her the entire night and they left together to go back to the apartment they both shared. You could tell that they were definitely in love and they both looked very happy being around each other.”
Entertainment Tonight said that the pair were “very flirty” and that he fed her macarons all night, and I dunno if that’s conclusive evidence that they’re “definitely in love”, but it’s a start!
Bella Hadid and The Weeknd dated for a year and a half before calling things off in late 2016. He dated Selena Gomez for a while, and the pair finally rekindled things in mid-2018.
They broke up once again this past August, and the source said:
“Bella and Abel have been in touch the last couple of weeks and have been working on their relationship. Initially, Abel reached out to Bella first checking in to say hello, and she agreed to meet up with him.”
The source continued:
“There was no love lost between the two. Abel just had a few things he needed to work on and his focus was elsewhere. They are in a better place right now but are trying to keep things on the down low. They both want to be more private about it this time around.”
