Bella Hadid has shown her support at a pro-Palestine march in NYC, as tensions continue to worsen in Gaza.
The model (whose father is Palestinian) joined huge crowds of protesters on Sunday, waving the Palestinian flag and chanting with her Palestinian brothers and sisters.

Bella Hadid has been extremely vocal about the violence occurring between Palestinians and the Israeli government and is using her platform to share information about the ongoing crisis.
“The way my heart feels.. To be around this many beautiful, smart, respectful, loving , kind and generous Palestinians all in one place… it feels whole ! We are a rare breed!!” Hadid wrote on Instagram today.

Earlier today, Hadid shared a photo of her grandparents on their wedding day, as well as a photo of her father Mohamed Hadid and his siblings who fled Palestine in 1948 becoming refugees.
“I love my family, I love my Heritage , I love Palestine,” Hadid wrote.
“I will stand strong to keep their hope for a better land in my heart. A better world for our people and the people around them. They can never erase our history. History is history!”

On Sunday, a tower housing several international media organisations was hit by an Israeli airstrike. The building housed the offices of the Associated Press and Al Jazeera, among others.
According to AP, the Israeli military called the building with a warning about the impending airstrike, giving the occupants an hour to evacuate.
“We are shocked and horrified that the Israeli military would target and destroy the building housing AP’s bureau and other news organisations in Gaza, ” the AP’s president and chief executive Gary Pruit said in a statement.
“The world will know less about what is happening in Gaza because of what happened today.”
