If you thought that 2018’s most batshit feud was over, THEN OH BOY, YOU THOUGHT WRONG, BUDDY, as over the weekend, Azealia Banks blew up at Elon Musk yet again, claiming that she has even more dirt to dish on the billionaire, and things could get “ugly.”
This latest round of drama started when it was reported that Banks might be called to testify in a lawsuit brought against Musk by the Securities and Exchange Commission, after his controversial remarks about taking Tesla private.
In response to this news, Musk’s lawyer Dean Kristy made some remarks discrediting Azealia Banks for her antics on social media, calling her a “veteran of long and nonsensical beefs” and a “Twitter villain” who has been banned from the platform for her inflammatory statements.
Banks, of course, was not about to take this lying down, and in response to Kristy’s statements, she took to Instagram to accuse Musk’s team of taking her phone and attempting to tamper with evidence, adding:
“The are STILL slighting me like I don’t have plenty more dirt to spill on Elon. He thinks this is a game … This is going to get extremely ugly. I may be a lot of things but a liar is not one of them. Elon will learn very soon who is more powerful of us two.”
In a separate post to her Instagram stories, she called Musk’s lawyer a “moron” before attempting to reach out, saying: “Elon needs to just speak to me directly bc This is getting out of hand. Kristy can bash me all he wants but I’m not the one who’s going to lose here.”
As you may dimly recall, the trouble between them started way back when Azealia Banks was invited to Musk’s house to collaborate with Grimes, and instead spent a weird weekend there watching him “scrounging for investors” on his phone as his girlfriend “coddled” him.
We can’t wait to see where this latest round of messy drama ends up.
