Oh man. I hope the strings on your heart are all in order, because those badboys are about to get tugged.
Liam Cooper and Amy Smith are pretty goddamned cute together. As couples are wont to do when they’re young and in love and have their whole lives ahead of them, Liam decided to pop the question.
But to hell with just doing it normally in a tried-and-true manner. Liam’s not that kinda guy.
Instead, in a frankly unbelievable wrangling of friends, family, and the cinema, and impeccably stage managed – seriously, even thinking about the logistics of all this gives me a headache – Liam filmed a music video starring himself, his mates, and (presumably) Amy’s Dad set to “Rude” by Magic!, and had it screen at the cinema during what was otherwise – as far as Amy knew – a completely ordinary movie date.
Throw in a theatre full of friends to surprise them, a quick and timely costume change, and some clever editing that ends the filmclip with Liam walking into the room to propose, and you’ve got yourselves one HELL of a marriage proposal.
It’s sappy, it’s sentimental, it’s hellaciously romantic. It’s probably the cutest thing you’re likely to see this afternoon by a freaking mile.
