Married At First Sight groom Liam Cooper has revealed he’s got a new beau: Married At First Sight NZ star Samuel Levi. After all the bullshit he endured simply for being the show’s first openly bisexual male contestant, I love this for him.

Taking to Instagram this morning to reveal the news, our resident bi-king wrote: “When a country boy finds a city boy.

“Life works in mysterious ways and this guy came into my life when I least expected it.

“I know I don’t have to explain my life or what I do but I am very open and honest and wanted to let you all know.”

Cooper continued, explaining that he met Levi “early this year after the experiment. We hit it off and we remained friends until recently.

“Samuel has shown me what support looks like, what trust looks like, and much more.

“I am scared, I am nervous but most of all I am happy.”

“Life certainly works in mysterious ways,” added Samuel Levi on his own post announcing their new pairing.

“It looks like the ‘experiment’ worked out for the both go us.”

Pump this shit into my veins like the vaccine because it’s unbelievably cute.

Speaking with PEDESTRIAN.TV, Liam Cooper revealed that he and Samuel Levi met at the Big Gay Day in Brisbane and “were just friends up until recently.”

“Like I mentioned in my post, I wasn’t expecting to meet anyone after the show,” he said.

“I thought I was going to be single for a long time. We both have gone through the same experience together and life is too short not to give something a go.

“It has been crazy as this is my first relationship with a guy.”

Rumours that the pair were an item first began circulating after the Daily Mail reported that they spent time together in Queensland and were “inseparable.”

“Sam is living for Liam’s sense of humour and sass and has really connected with him on another level,” a source told the outlet.

“Liam is very protective of Sam, hence why they’re trying to keep things low-key.

“He doesn’t want anyone thinking it’s a showmance, because it’s not.”

Not only is it the queer romantic story we need in reality TV but also something this guy absolutely deserves.
