Jess was booted off the show in last night’s episode after managing to make everybody uncomfortable from a constant string of inappropriate and downright sexist comments towards Angie and a number of The Bachelorette‘s female crew.

Angie told 10Daily that she stayed away from social media last night, but she did hear from friends and family that it was “going off”.

“I’m very grateful for the support, but I really want to make it clear to everyone that there’s no way in the world I want Jess to be bullied,” she said.

“Yes, I did my piece in the moment and stuck up for myself and women around me – but there’s no way I want him to be bullied online.

“I want him to learn from this and move forward.”

If you missed the end of Thursday’s episode, Angie powerfully called Jess out for his comments and behaviour.

“If there is anything in my entire life that I’ve been super sure of, I will never allow a man to come in and fuck with my sisterhood. Never,” Angie told Jess.

“If a man can’t accept and respect what I’m putting down, I’d rather be single for the rest of my life.”

BOOM.

Actually, let’s just rewatch it.

Angie told 10Daily that even though watching last night’s episode was “hard”, she really did appreciate seeing everybody else’s reaction.

“It was kind of beautiful to watch because I didn’t see how much the guys had been affected by Jess’s behaviour,” she said, sharing both Carlin and Scot had approached her about the entire situation.

“I didn’t realise how much was going on behind my back, so to see the men speaking up and seeing how upset they were was really strong and powerful.”

And, in absolutely no surprise whatsoever, Angie revealed Jess messaged her right before the show premiered – not to apologise, but to tell Angie: “I hope you know I was there for you.”

Get over yourself, mate. Far out.
