The YouTuber, whose real name is Adam Grandmaison, was midway through filming the podcast in the backroom of his BMX and clothing store ONSOMESHIT when an unidentified assailant entered and pulled a gun on him.
The gunman demands Adam22’s money and threatens, “Do you want to die right now?”
Grandmaison’s security eventually overpowers the intruder and he is “knocked out”.
The recording of the podcast has been shared to his Instagram which he captioned, “They tried to kill me lmao.”

In a separate video, you can also see the gunman barely conscious on the ground.

He has since told the media outlet that ‘the gunman came THIS close to getting shot and killed after someone in his crew pulled out his gun and pointed it at the assailant’s head.’
“That’s the thing I’m thankful [about], this guy didn’t get killed cause it was really, really close to happening.”
“There’s a rear entrance to get into the store, and a close friend of mine who’s armed hangs by the door the entire time just in case anything were to ever happen,” Grandmaison said. “This guy snuck in after our Postmates order came.”
