There Is No Better (Legal) Way To Celebrate 4/20 Than With This Snoop Dogg Vino

So It’s April 20, 2020, a literal once in a lifetime celebration of all things marijuana. Happy stoner Christmas everyone!

But put down that bong folks, remember that unfortunately being in the land down under means we cannot celebrate by lighting up just yet.

However, lucky for us, weed Santa Claus Snoop Dogg hasn’t forgotten about his Aussie brothers and sisters. The Doggfather himself has partnered with local winemaker 19 Crimes to make sure we can enjoy a little something too. You’re so considerate, Snoop!

Snoop and 19 Crimes have announced a multi year partnership. His signature wine contains 65-percent Petite Syrah, 30- percent Zinfandel, and 5-percent Merlot, and is being advertised as 19 Crime’s first California wine. It’s called Cali Red (très surprising as Snoop Dogg is famously a Crip, but whoever heard of a blue wine?). Snoop said in a press release:

“I’ve been a fan of this wine, and I’m excited to unveil my Snoop Cali Red this summer and share the experience with all my fans. It’s one of the most successful brands in the market, so I’m more than eager to bring this collaboration to the world!”

19 Crimes famously sling wines that feature the “convicts-turned-colonists” from the 18th and 19th century who built Australia. Unexpected choice but Snoop isn’t super surprising given they’re all about “rule breaking, culture creating and overcoming adversity”.

No better fit if you ask me.

Snoop Dogg is no stranger to the food world. No one has seemingly been able to entice him out of the kitchen with Martha Stewart. He also has the Guinness World Record for mixing the world’s largest gin and juice.

The wine is expected to be released around winter. Perfect red wine weather. Until then:
