Love popcorn chicken and slabs? Well hold on to your butts because KFC have just released their Popcorn Chicken Slab that’s sure to satisfy your drunken food antics this weekend.
For only $9.95, yes, less than $10, you can taste the “bed of popcorn chicken on six soft dinner rolls, with tasty cheese and BBQ sauce.” Delicious, I know.
What more could you possibly want on a Friday night than a cheesy, barbecue sauce-filled bread roll with delicious popcorn chicken? Nothing! This is what dreams are made of.
“We’re always looking for new ways to delight fans of the Colonel’s finest, and we’re excited to bring new and innovative menu items to our restaurants,” a KFC spokesperson told 7News.
Popcorn chicken is easily the greatest KFC menu item, other than the beloved Krushers they cancelled earlier this year. So obviously it was a no-brainer to chuck them on a bread roll with some cheese and sauce. Simple, yet effective. I love it.
The greasy slab of chicken goodness is only available through the KFC app, so be sure to download the app before you head out to the club tonight.
Unfortunately, you can only pick up this sweet deal at one of the nine restaurants within the Ballarat region. I’m not sure how Ballarat has a whopping NINE KFC stores, but apparently it does, and apparently they’ve got delicious popcorn chicken slabs

You can pick up the delicacy as part of a combo for two for $15.95, or a ‘feast’ for $29.95 with two large chips, six original recipe chickens and six tenders.
