The magic of a well-made, hot tea in the middle of winter is something incomparable when the cold seeps into your very bones and you feel like you might never be warm again. What was the warm like? What did it feel like to not be tensing every muscle against the cold? What was life like before chapped lips and frozen fingers?
To help stave off the chilling grip of Old Man Winter’s hand tomorrow, the lords of the (non-alcoholic) brew Chatime are slinging their fancy hot teas for nothin’ on Wednesday, July 11.
The first 200 customers to front up at the bubble tea steep-heavy shops will score themselves a free tea from the lineup of tasty bevs on offer – from a floral earl grey to a deeply satisfying matcha latte, or maybe something more ~zesty~ like a honeydew melon tea, or a tantalising taro tea (say that three times quickly.)
The tea teams are handing out freebies at all Chatime stores except Queensland and Northern Territory (sorry but you lot don’t ever get cold anyway) so if you need to wrap your cold little hands around a hottie (hot tea, get it?) then get your brew-lovin’ buns to a Chatime first thing Wednesday morning.
