Chatime Are Giving A Year Of Tea To The Unit With Most Cooked Search History

There are certain things in this modern life that are sacred.

Your camera roll. The ‘deleted photos’ section of your camera roll. Your sexual history (or lack thereof).

But the most sacred of all things is, without a doubt, your internet search history.

me before i google my own name for the 5th time today

Bubble tea slingers Chatime know this, and so they’re giving away a year’s worth of free tea to whoever is brave enough to share their internet history, with the weirdest search winning.

Following recent research which found young Aussies would rather share their salary information than their internet search history, Chatime is challenging Aussies to share their crazy tastes by showing their (unfiltered) internet search history for the chance to win a year’s supply of products at their stores around Australia,” reads a press release.

“The wackiest search histories will win the big prize over the coming weeks. Those brave enough to take part simply need to share a screen shot of their internet search history and upload to Instagram.”

Thankfully, you don’t have to post an actual upload to the grid; you only have to post it on your Insta Story with the hashtag #historycha_llenge. (That’s one underscore, ps.)

Fuck. It’s still a big ask.

In the spirit of wholesome reporting, I have shared a snippet of my recent search history below. If you’ve got a spare hour to kill, I would highly recommend wading through your own. You will realise two things: the human brain is inherently flawed, and we all spend way too much time on the internet.

Here layeth Exhibit A) I am an illuminati-dabbling Big Brother fan who is trying to reduce their salt intake (it’s a way for the government to control us, you see) but just really really wants a burger:

And Exhibit B) All this New York Times‘ pork belly porchetta (cultured what of it) has left me thirsty for Tim Robards:

Phew, that felt oddly cathartic. Ok, now it’s your go.
