If there’s one thing about small towns is that there’s absolutely always one place that claims to have the best of something in the whole country. The best burgers, the best pies, the best fish & chips, the best sausage roll. You name it, about five towns have laid claim to it.

Over the last few weeks, travel site Wotif put the call out for people to make the big call on some of the biggest-disputed, most-argued best of the best things in Australia. Sausage rolls, swimming spots, main strips, roadside pitstops and more. You know, classic Australiana shit that every town and village claims to have the best of.
After extensive votings and probably a few heated arguments around the dinner table, the creme de la creme has been announced, for you to all to fight over for the rest of the day, or maybe even enough ammunition for the rest of the week if you want to bring it up at any given moment.
