Chrissy Teigen, the world’s high school sweetheart, will not put up with any body-shamey, backwards-compliment shit, nosirree.
Yesterday, model Teigen posted a standard #fbf post to Instagram, of herself and the man-lucky-enough-to-call-himself-her-husband, musician John Legend, at the 2008 Grammys, with the caption: “Grammys 2008. 10 years ago. This tan!!! Lmao.”
Good-humoured, standard Insty content, we dig. Who among us didn’t slather ourselves in fake tan in 2008? Zero. Bupkis.
But because people are horrible and bad, one “fan” – or at least a person who follows Teigen on social media, probably because of all that fire ~content~ – decided to try to pull yr m8 Chrissy down a peg with a twisted backhanded compliment.
“Wow so stunning here!! Before the boobies and fillers, so natural and stunning. You both still look great,” wrote mememama435, a person we have now discovered maybe makes a habit of saying mean things to celebs on the internet.
A quick Google reveals her ripping on Khloé Kardashian for having big feet in an Insta post from Feb last year – “Feet look mad big” – in a good and practical use of their valuable trolling time.
Anywho, Teigen wasn’t going to take that not-v-subtle body shaming from a complete stranger, clapping back: “Boobies and fillers? Fuck off with your backhanded shit.”
If only we were all brave enough to tell trolls to F off.
