The Emmy, which joins his Grammy, Oscar, and Tony award makes him the 13th person to achieve EGOT status – not to mention the youngest at age 39 and the first black man to do so.

BIG day for the Legend.

Renowned composer Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice, who worked on the live production, also achieved EGOT status.

Per Variety Legend said backstage: “When I got into the music business it was a dream of mine to win Grammys and have plenty of success as a musician and sell lots of records and tour around the world as a performer, but I never had a dream of winning an EGOT, I didn’t even know what that was at the time.”

In total, the artist has 10 Grammy awards, one Emmy award, an Oscar for the song ‘Glory’ from the film Selma, and one Tony award Jitney.

For a visual representation of every single one of these awards, take a moment to see his ‘pool room’.

Please note the caption: “And I say hey, what a wonderful kind of day.”

“Perfect.”

Yeah, cool, same, cool, yeah.

THEY’RE SO CUTE.

Sidenote: Teigen finally got to meet the Fab 5 AKA Tan France, Bobby Berk, Karamo Brown, Antoni Porowski, and Jonathan Van Ness.

Teigen captioned the post: “I have no voice today. I am so happy to have met these wonderful humans yesterday. I feel like I’ve met friends for life. My groomsmen in my next wedding for sure.”

Amazing.

The Fab 5 were also honoured with their very first Emmy on night two of the ceremony. The angels received the much-deserved award for the most Outstanding Structured Reality Program.

The 70th Primetime Emmys ceremony will take place on September 17.
