In what might be the most socially responsible form of protest yet, Americans are cleaning stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame to protest dipshit Trump fans.

It all started when one Trump fan – let’s call her Makenna, because that appears to be her name – took pictures of herself cleaning Trump’s vandalised Walk of Fame star and tweeted it out into the world, presenting it as evidence of her being “raised right”. (Spare me.)

Naturally, the damn thing went viral, scoring praise from the likes of Sean Hannity and Eric Trump.
Wow. Great American. @CNN @NBCNews @JoeNBC (who calls the @POTUS a schmuck, liar, goon etc.). Watch and learn what respect for the office is https://t.co/2m8aUVlBUd

Thank you Makenna! #MakeAmericaGreatAgain ???????????? https://t.co/2JL6xTSI4C

It would feel a bit mean to pile shit on her, but she’s been retweeting the Hannity / Trump praise, as well as tweets that compare her favourably to the girl who plastered Trump’s star with LGBTI stickers, so in this world that makes you fair game.
Now other young Americans are protesting this nausea-inducing behaviour by cleaning more stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, including objectively good candidates for president Britney Spears, Harrison Ford, and Godzilla.

Let’s be real here – there’s just the tiniest potential that some of these pictures were taken some time ago, and the posters didn’t actually clean jack shit before tweeting. We acknowledge that there may be some errors in this story.

UPDATE: It was pointed out that the original version of this story missed the Meryl Streep tweet. We have since corrected this grievous oversight, and apologise to Madam President Streep.
