The new trailer for Christopher Nolan‘s second world war epic Dunkirk is here, and shows off a lot more of what we can expect ahead of the film’s July release.
Right off the bat, we’ll say that the last trailer got One Direction fans into one hell of a tizzy, when it showed Harry Styles‘ beautiful visage sinking below some murky water and apparently drowning.
This one does not exactly put our minds at ease. We get one look at our boy, as screengrabbed in the image above, and as Vanity Fair point out, the only other clear look we get is this:
Is Harry Styles going to make it out of his debut film role alive? Will Directioners be openly sobbing in the cinema aisles? THE SUSPENSE IS MORE THAN WE CAN HANDLE.
That aside, this new trailer does look stunning. Dunkirk is reportedly light on dialogue, with a story driven by action and visuals, and Nolan shot it with 65mm film and IMAX cameras to make the most of this.
The film’s highly-prestigious British cast is rounded out by Tom Hardy, Kenneth Branagh, Cillian Murphy and Mark Rylance, and you can watch the latest trailer below:
Dunkirk is out in Australia on July 20.
