WATCH: New ‘Dunkirk’ Trailer Shows Harry Styles Drowning & 1Ders Are Shook

The first full trailer for Christopher Nolan‘s intense WWII epic ‘Dunkirk‘ has arrived, and it’s sending One Directioners into meltdown.

You see, alongside an absolutely stacked cast of Tom Hardy, Mark Rylance, Cillian Murphy, Kenneth Branagh and James D’Arcy – plus new(ish)-comers Jack Lowden and Aneurin Barnard – the least exciting 1D member Harry Styles is in it. And the trailer shows him very nearly drowning.

This has Directioners absolutely shook. It’s also guaranteed that Dunkirk is gonna bring in at least $100 mill at the box office from the grown-up tween market alone, so more power to it.

Directioners were then quick to point out that while everyone is making a big deal about Harry being in the film, no one was mentioning Louis Tomlinson (SMDH, etc). Weird, because he isn’t even in the mov–.

I stand corrected.

It seems extremely weird to say *SPOILERS* about a movie based on real life events but er… spoilers? If you don’t want to be spoiled by historical events, then SKIP TO THE TRAILER. 

Anyhoo, despite the trailer playing this off as a total shitstorm in the vein of ‘All Quiet on the Western Front‘, a.k.a. where every character ends up dead, the Battle of Dunkirk ended with more than 330,000 Allied troops being rescued. So it’s safe to say that not every single character will die, but perhaps Harry Styles is the sacrificial lamb.
