Watch Wes Anderson’s ‘The Grand Budapest Hotel’ Trailer

Behold the trailer for Wes Anderson’s latest full scale diorama project The Grand Budapest Hotel.

By the virtue of being Wes Anderson, Wes Anderson automatically scores a perfect ten Andersons on the Wes Anderson aesthetic matrix and this film is no different. Actually, with the presence of symmetrical framing everything, interracial young lovers, surrogate father-son relationships, Bill Murray and an immigrant subordinate with charm, we could bump this up to eleven.

The auteur’s painstaking visual style bleeds through every frame in the trailer as we’re introduced to the well-to-do patrons (and murder victims!) of the prestigious European hotel of the film’s title and the tumultuous story of its legendary concierge Gustave H, Ralph Fiennes, who presides over its polished marble floors, gilded bannisters and its lobby boy, Zero Moustafa, newcomer Tony Revolori, as they battle through the perils of servitude, accusations of murder and a heated ownership dispute over a rare painting.

The film also stars Edward Norton, Saoirse Ronan, Adrien Brody, Willem Dafoe, Léa Seydoux, Jeff Goldblum, Jason Schwartzman, Jude Law, Tilda Swinton, Harvey Keitel, Tom Wilkinson, Bill Murray and Owen Wilson.
