Freddie Flintoff Did A Solid Elvis Impersonation During His Big Bash Game

If he’s not already, by the time the current Big Bash League season draws to a close, Freddie Flintoff will be firmly entrenched as a national hero.

We’ve already caught him dropping a see you next Tuesday into a live stump mic during a match a few days ago. But last night Big Fred stepped it up several notches.
During the game between Flintoff’s Brisbane Heat and the Hobart Hurricanes at the ‘Gabba, Flintoff passed the time that comes with fielding on the boundary by establishing a bit of banter with the Network Ten commentary team. This, in and of itself, was all well and good and perfectly entertaining as a standalone concept. And then this tweet came through from fellow hilarious Brit David “Bumble” Lloyd.

Never one to deny reasonable requests, Flintoff obliged.

When you couple that with this subsequent clip from earlier in the season of Flintoff actually commentating his own play and if, by summer’s end, he’s not packing an Order of Australia into his bag for the flight back to Heathrow, I for one will riot several times.

Freddie Flintoff FOREVER.
