Welp. If this ain’t one of your most-anticipated comedy films of the year, you’d better start looking for non-rock based real estate.
The Lonely Island gang have banded back together for their newest feature film ‘Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping‘ and if this latest trailer is anything to go by, it’s gonna be a bloody riot.
Andy Samberg takes the lead in this one as pop megastar “Connor4real,” who – according to the synopsis – suffers an album bomb, leaving him with no choice but to re-form his old boy band.
The film is sickeningly close to hitting cinemas and in preparation this new trailer is here to both pump up your keen, and also explain how Seal got those nasty facial scars once and for all.
The cast is absolutely STACKED, featuring Lonely Island trio Samberg, Jorma Taccone, and Akiva Schaffer, alongside names such as Sarah Silverman, Tim Meadows, Bill Hader, Joan Cusack, Maya Rudolph, Will Arnett, Martin Sheen, Adam Levine, Snoop Dogg, Simon Cowell, Will Forte, Carrie Underwood, Jimmy Fallon, Questlove, DJ Khaled, Usher, Pink, and Joanna Newsom, just to name a few.
Keep yr eyes peeled for it when it hits Australian screens on June 2nd.
