The warmer months are coming, and so are Tame Impala – fresh off acclaimed new album Currents, Kevin Parker and his mates have announced an Australian tour for this coming November.
Following an epic one-off show at Splendour In The Grass, they’ll treat fans to a “blindingly colourful” national tour, expanding minds in Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, Adelaide and Brisbane.
Critics have frothed intensely hard all over Currents, with the upstanding individuals at The Quietus saying:
“What they are, on Currents – their third album, and the first since Lonerism brought them deserved renown three years ago – is something fluid, delicate and magical. They’ve looked upwards. They’ve gone forwards.”
L.A. three-piece Mini Mansions will support the band on all Aussie dates, while Fremantle collective Koi Child will be along for the party in Melbourne, Perth and Brisbane.
