Aside from your Reg Grundies (undies…), jeans have to be the #1 wardrobe staple for pretty much everyone. Finding the perfect pair is akin to discovering you’ve won the lottery – so news that there are $30 Target jeans that are owned by 1/8th of the Australian female population is likely to pique everyone’s interest.

The jeans in question are called the Sophie jeans. They’re a skinny leg, and when they launched in 2015 came in only two colourways and one length option.
“Target’s Sophie jeans were named after my first car, a trusty 1969 Hillman Hunter – because just like my first car, our Sophie jeans are durable, have longevity and always stand out in a crowd,” said Target Australia’s denim buyer, Marie Philippou.
The Sophie jeans range from $30 to $39 depending on the cut, and now come in 17 different options – from colourways to distressed, cropped and raw hemmed. They’re also available in sizes 1 (for little kids) to 26.
Fun additional note – if you want to cop a pair right now, all Target Australia jeans across men’s and womenswear are available for under $30. You’ll have to buy soon though – the sale ends 26th June 2o19.
