When it comes to stylish royals, your mind automatically jumps to the likes of the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, and the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle.

And with good reason: these women are both insanely well dressed, stepping out at royal engagements all over the world wearing a range of TDF designer pieces we’d consider (if, only fleetingly) selling our a kidney for.

But it seems Kate and Meghan just got seriously upstaged in the fashion department by none other than their famous grandmother in law, Queen Elizabeth II.

To refresh your memory, at the end of last year Pantone revealed it’s Colour of the Year for 2019 – a title appointed to the one shade set to define the year ahead.

And the biggest colour trend for this year is Living Coral, with the shade cropping up everywhere from the runway to decor designs.

Granted, this ain’t an easy tone to wear, so when someone is bold enough to have a crack, and totally own it, we’re more than mildly impressed.

Here to shock us all was none other than Queenie, who stepped out at her latest royal engagement wearing the trending hue like it ain’t no thang.

Liz wore a calf-grazing coral bouclé coat dress, worn over a matching dress and wide-brimmed hat in the same tone TO GO TO CHURCH.

That’s right, old mate rocked up for Sunday Service at St Peter and St Paul’s Church in West Newton wearing the ridiculously on-trend getup.

And, like, she knows she nailed it:

The monarch finished the look with black leather accessories, including a top handle handbag and a pair of her favourite Gucci-lookalike horse bit loafers.

Seriously, Liz is shaping up to be a 2019 style muse to be reckoned with. Granted, she already has a crown but can someone be a darl and fetch it for her?
