Like everyone with an interest in video games, when I think about what’s at the forefront of the modern gaming experience, ‘Farming Simulator‘ immediately springs to mind.
Transforming the tedious analogue process of doing actual farmwork into a tedious simulated exercise rendered in excruciating detail, it’s absolutely the best way to spend hundreds of hours operating heavy machinery without getting paid a single cent for it.
In their own words:
“Immerse yourself in a huge open world loaded with a yield of new content. Explore farming possibilities over hundreds of acres of land, including a detailed new North American environment. Drive over 250 authentic farming vehicles and equipment from more than 75 manufacturers, including huge new brands such as Challenger, Fendt, Massey Ferguson and Valtra.”
Amazing stuff.

Accompanied by a deceptively cool chillwave soundtrack, the trailer takes the male gaze to its most mechanical extreme, staring at and lingering on various harvesters and pieces of farming equipment that I’m too city-ruined to identify with lustful abandon and almost tangible desire.
If driving tractors at a medium speed over rolling hills at sunset gets your erogenous zones primed, then prime your erogenous zones for this incredible piece of gaming technology:
