Did you just feel the earth rumble? That’s because an extremely cursed entity entered the earth’s atmosphere, and that’s the SNL monologue by one Elon Musk.
During the monologue, he discussed a range of odd topics from O.J. Simpson (?) to his son’s cooked name (??) to, of course, Dogecoin.
But that last topic wasn’t such a great idea to bring up as during the airing of the ep, Dogecoin saw a 25 per cent drop which, I’m sure, had investors freaking the fuck out.

The meme-driven cryptocurrency, first introduced in 2013 as a joke for shits and giggs, as most things are, saw a ‘yuge spike this month after being endorsed by Elon Musk. But it’s sounding like his input is now biting associated folks in the ass following his cooked SNL performance.

“Call me the Dogefather,” Musk said during a subsequent sketch, playing fictional character Lloyd Ostertag in a skit.
“Cryptocurrencies are a type of digital money, but instead of being controlled by a central government, they are decentralised using blockchain technology.
“Lately, prices have been soaring for cryptos like bitcoin, ethereum and especially Dogecoin. Dogecoin actually started as a joke based on an internet meme, but now it’s taken over in a very real way.”
“It’s the future of currency,” he continued in the sketch. “It’s an unstoppable financial vehicle that’s going to take over the world.”
