In huge fucken’ news for Aussie music: local legend The Kid LAROI is making his Saturday Night Live debut this weekend, singing his bop ‘Without You’, or rather, the remix featuring Miley Cyrus.

It’s a certified banger (or should I say, a certified PLATINUM banger), and I implore you to have a listen to it ASAP so you can sing along the words as the bbs belt it out to an international stage, fresh off his appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallonand The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

Peep the music video below:

But get this, right: Miley Cyrus is hosting the gig alongside, wait for it, Elon Musk. Yep, Elon fucking Musk.

If you’ve been paying attention to the news this week, you’ll know Elon fucking Musk is hosting ‘cos the other day he took to Twitter to ask the masses to write his skits for him, because of course he did.

“Throwing out some skit ideas for SNL. What should I do?” he tweeted. To me, that’s the equivalent of that wanker in school who would steal money from his ‘rents and ask the intelligent students to do his homework for him in exchange for $$$. Not because he can’t do it himself, but just for clout. Only in this case, I’m sure Elon couldn’t muster up a laugh in a dentist’s office.

He then rattled off the ideas that are probably already in his notebook and if that’s the best he’s got, we’re in for an absolute shitshow this weekend.

“Irony Man – defeats villains using the power of irony,” being the first idea, and the second is: “Baby Shark & Shark Tank merge to form Baby Shark Tank.”

Naturally, the tweet led to an absolute pummelling from Twitter, have a read of the best responses here.

I’m sure the comedy part of the SNL ep will be an absolute debacle, but at least we have The Kid LAROI and Miley Cyrus’ performance to look forward to. The only saving grace.

Head here to catch the sick single the pair will be singing.
