Nathan Fillion’s Teasing Some ‘Uncharted’-Related Shit On His Instagram

With an Uncharted movie in the works for fucking ages, fans have been wondering just who is going to be playing the lead character, Nathan Drake. Welp, we still don’t really know, but Nathan Fillion has something to do with it, according to his Instagram account.

The actor posted two images recently, one of which was Canadian rapper Drake with the caption “Sic Parvis Magna” (which translates to “Greatness From Small Beginnings”), a Latin phrase inscribed inside Nathan Drake’s ring, as well as the date, July 16, 2018.

The second image is a bunch of maps and old ass-looking books with the same date in the caption.

I mean, these are some heavy references to something Uncharted-related, but no one is really certain on what it is just yet. Fillion’s no stranger to the series, either, with fans all but begging various directors to cast him as the lead for some time.

Sure, Fillion could play Drake, but it’s been a long time since the movie was first kicking around back in 2010 and his resemblance to the iconic character is, uh… Fading. That original project, which was set to be directed by David O. Russell and star Mark Wahlberg was obviously canned.

The film’s latest director, Shawn Levy, is currently heading the project and says he’d like it to become the Indiana Jones for a new generation. But here’s the thing, Levy announced Tom Holland as Nathan Drake last year, so who knows what the fuck is actually going on?

We should know more once the 16th hits (17th for us in the future), but fans of the games are sure to be scratching their heads in the meantime.
