After plenty of rumours about the announcement date for the upcoming iPhone, Apple have now confirmed that it’s indeed September 12.
The tech juggernauts have invited media to the announcement, which marks the first of its kind at their new headquarters, Apple Park in Cupertino, California. The gigantic circular building – also referred to as the “spaceship” – was first started in 2013. Big bloody building, ay.

If you wanna watch the event as it happens, you’ll have to get up at 3am AEST on Wednesday the 13th of September.
The company are expected to launch one helluva tenth anniversary iPhone, after many were disappointed with the iPhone 7‘s minimal upgrade compared to the 6S.
There’s no shortage of rumours about what we can expect from the new device, including facial recognition, a lack of home button and edge-to-edge display.
