PRAISE BE TO THE FASHION GODS. Zara – the global behemoth of a style destination – has finally launched an online store in Australia.
Previously you could only shop the chic Euro goods in physical stores – of which there aren’t a ton in Australia. However as of literally today, you can spend copious amounts of work time scrolling through fashion-forward tops and dresses til your boss fires you. Wonderful.

YOU CAN GET NEXT-DAY DELIVERY
If you’re in Sydney, Melbs, Perth, Canberra, Brissie or Adelaide you can opt for next-day delivery – and it’s free on orders over $75. This is ‘cos the site is shipping from a local Sydney warehouse, not from o/s. YAY.
SYDNEY CAN ALSO COP SAME-DAY DELIVERY
If you make an order between Mon-Fri before 2pm and are happy to pay $12.95, you can get your stuff delivered between 6-9pm the same day.
YOU CAN RETURN IN STORE, AND RETURNS ARE FREE
As someone chronically terrible at mailing returns, this is a god-send. You’ve got 30 days to return your items in store (or via shipping) and it’s freeeeee. This means you can shop as much as you like and not worry about that whole “I thought this balloon dress in hot pink would totally work with my entirely black wardrobe” situation.
YOU CAN ALSO GET YOUR SHIT DELIVERED IN STORE
If your workplace isn’t cool with copious fashion deliveries (shame, shame, shaaaame) and you live/work near a Zara, you can get your stuff delivered in-store. Perfect if you CBF going and trying stuff on or just need a new size. It’s free if you collect within 1-4 working days.

THERE’S AN APP AND A SITE
I literally spend all my evenings scrolling fashion sites for clothes bc I have no life, so if you’re like me you’ll be thrilled that Zara has an app for shopping. There’s also a site – hence the whole shop-at-work-and-get-fired intro.
All of this is great news considering loads of o/s sites launch Aussie shopping versions that take aaaages to ship due to overseas warehouses etc. THANKS ZARA. (My credit card says ‘fuck you’ though).
