New York Fashion Week is a green light for the style set to bring out the boldest, quirkiest looks in their wardrobe. In other words, it’s basically a seven-day ode to the art of peacocking. But, between the OTT accessories and utterly out-there colour combos, there are a handful of cool trends we can’t help ‘mirin.
This year, there was one trend which falls into that latter category and, the best part is, you might already own it.
White cowboy boots, or white boots at all for that matter, were spotted bloody everywhere.
From go-go inspired, knee-high boots to petite, kitten heel ankle booties, this versatile trend is one to add to your radar especially as we begin the inevitable descent into winter.
As for ornamentation, the plain white leather, round toe option is definitely the classic, but if you want to experiment with a slightly quirkier take on the boot, try opting for a pointed cowboy toe with Western-inspired details (think studs and stars, but not spurs).
