It’s the end of June, and that means everyone who managed to scrounge their cash together so they can choof off overseas and escape the brunt of the Aussie winter is either a) inundating you with Instagram pics of themselves in Cinque Terre right now or b) relentlessly posting Instagram Stories asking followers to help them pack for their Euro holiday.
If you’re one of these people, congratulations I hate you.
KIDDING. You’re fine. Mildly annoying with your unadulterated enthusiasm but generally, a good egg. You can stay.
One of the hardest things when it comes to holidaying in a different hemisphere is finding shops that stock summer threads. Sure, you could take the stuff you wore oh, TWO MONTHS AGO. But let’s face it, you want new shit. You want to fully embrace your La Dolce Vita/Beyonce Off Duty aesthetic from head to toe, 24/7 while you’re away. And those old cutoffs and threadbare bikini just won’t do.
Swimmers are the hardest – while many shops’ll stock stuff that can be worked into a summer wardrobe with ease in June/July, togs are few and far between.
