Instagram Finally Gave Us A Way To Sort Through The Hell That Is Comments

One of the pains of using Instagram is replying to or keeping track of comments. If you’re on a post with a shitload of comments below it, it can be pretty difficult to keep track of all the separate conversations going on. If you’re anything like me, you probably won’t even bother with that shit.

Luckily, the Facebook-owned company is implementing a new feature that will make it way easier. Starting from today, when you reply to a comment on the platform, it’ll start a thread underneath it.

In other words, commenting on Instagram will behave almost exactly like it does on Facebook.

Apart from allowing users to have an actual conversation without relying on a string of annoying as fuck @ mentions, it also simply looks nicer. Check it out in action in the images below.

Facebook acquired Instagram in April of 2012 and have since been adding new features that are either from Facebook directly, or some other platform that shares images. Make of that what you will.

In June, the platform introduced a number of features to help block offensive comments and reduce spam. No one has time for any of that shit.
