WATCH: Robert DeNiro Wants To Punch “Bullshit Artist” Trump In The Face

As the fallout from Donald Trump‘s hugely sexist comments about women continues to consume the weekend, a US current affairs show has aired a previously unseen clip of veteran actor Robert DeNiro savagely laying in to the Republican presidential candidate.
The short video was actually filmed well prior to the events of this weekend, and was intended as part of a campaign where celebrities encourage voters to do their civic duty, but it was never aired, as it was considered to be too partisan, and too damn volatile.
The clip aired for the first time on Megyn Kelly‘s Fox News show The Kelly File – apparently even Fox News is going in on Trump at this point – and sees DeNiro displaying an anger rarely-seen since his Taxi Driver days. He said:

“He’s a punk, he’s a dog, he’s a pig, he’s a con, a bullshit artist. A mutt who doesn’t know what he’s talking about, doesn’t do his homework, doesn’t care, thinks he’s gaming society, doesn’t pay his taxes. He talks how he’d like to punch people in the face? Well, I’d like to punch him in the face.”
Let the weirdest US election season in living memory continue:
