A heck of a lot of the biggest celebs in 2018 turned up to celebrate 50 years of American fashion designer Ralph Lauren‘s label at New York Fashion Week this weekend.

The company described their anniversary dinner and show in Central Park, as Elle writes, as a “multi-brand, multi-generational celebration of the World of Ralph Lauren and the next chapter of iconic American style“.
Some of our very own headed to the event to check out what they’ll be wearing the next time they’ve gotta strut along the red carpet, from Katherine Langford to Rose Byrne.

In terms of movie stars, there was Jessica Chastain, Anne Hathaway, Blake Lively, Henry Golding, director Paul Feig, Tom Hiddleston and freakin’ Robert DeNiro. And yeah, women rockin’ suits/tuxes is a definite theme this year.
Hathaway summed up the feeling on the night to Vanity Fair: “How am I feeling about a huge retrospective in the middle of Central Park, while wearing borrowed diamonds and Ralph Lauren? Yeah, it feels really good.”

Media mogul you first encountered spending sick days at home with mum, Oprah Winfrey, was there. Speaking of moguls, how about Iman, one-time model turned cosmetics entrepreneur, and widow to the late David Bowie, who was photographed alongside 25-year-old rap wunkerkind, Chance the Rapper.
Chance wasn’t the only rapper in the game – of course Yeezy was there, and of course he made a scene, booting a prying entertainment journo out of the event. But hey, at least we got this pic of him with sweet angel Ansel Elgort.
Lovebirds Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra practically recreated Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s engagement pic, sitting kinda between his knees, engagement ring sparkling for all to see – which makes total sense, considering the official photog on the day was the same bloke, Alex Lubomirski. And Chopra and Markle are m8s.
Of course Anna Wintour and Hillary Clinton are mates. That surprises no one.
All in all it seems like people enjoyed themselves – especially this baby, who was asleep in his fancy arse clothes the entire time.
