An octogenarian piloting a light aircraft during a series of low-lying take-off and landing manoeuvres and a skydiver making his earthly descent had the misfortune of crossing paths this weekend past, their less-than-ideal aerial union of wing and parachute string captured by local Floridian lensman Tim Telford in a series of photos that will do everything to reaffirm your commitment to remaining earthbound for the foreseeable future.
Neither the pilot nor the skydiver sustained serious injury, with the pilot’s wife telling the Orlando Sentinel: “We’re feeling great that he’s OK. The diver is OK. That’s fine with us.” You know what’s not fine?
