A Norwegian Skydiver Almost Got Hit By A Meteorite Mid-Flight

This is beyond incredible. In 2012, Anders Helstrup was on what was, for him at least, a routine skydive whilst wearing a wingsuit. His helmet was equipped with two cameras to capture the jump. But when he reviewed the footage, he saw something peculiar.

Now, after studying the footage and verifying what it was, geologists have confirmed the tiny flash, no more than 2 metres in front of Anders as his parachute deployed, was a falling meteorite.
Yes, you read the correctly. He was less than 2 metres away from being cleaned up in mid-air by a meteorite that originated from somewhere around Jupiter.
This is the first time footage has been captured of a falling meteorite after its light (read: the big ball of flame after it enters the atmosphere) has gone out. The team of geologists, using mathematical extrapolation to narrow the field, are currently searching for the rock in question.
Holy shit.
