The Original Kings X Coke Sign Is Being Sold Off & You Can Buy A Piece

In extremely weird news, you can now bid on a section of Sydney’s iconic Kings X Coca-Cola sign to own in your very own home.

The sign is getting a makeover of the environmentally friendly kind (i.e. the 800 neon lights that’ve been there since 1974 are getting taken down and replaced with halogens) and so, from September 7, you can bid on a piece of the old sign via well-known bidding site Ebay.

Going going gone – much like Sydney’s nightlife, lel

What, exactly, are you getting for you dollars? Who TF knows! What we do know is that all proceeds are going to charity, specifically the very worthy Wayside Chapel Kings Cross charity (it does a lot for the homeless community).

Maybe you want to buy a piece of the Coke sign to remember your wayward youth spent vomiting beneath it.

Maybe you simply want to do your bit for charity. Or maybe you want to erect the sign outside Mike Baird‘s office, as a constant reminder of all that the lockout laws have squashed. (Probably don’t do that.)

We simply cannot know.

Whatever your reasons, start your bidding September 7 here.
