Three days out from the election, and things are looking grim. So much so that some Australians are making like disgruntled American Conservatives circa 2012, and tweet-threatening to hop on the boats that get turned back and flee to New Zealand (Australia’s Canada) if Tony Abbott emerges victorious.
Twitter‘s not the only social-media platform for you to whine on vent your post-election escape plans – there are Facebook groups set up for you, whether you want to head to New Zealand, Sweden, Iran, even North Korea if the Mad Monk gets in. We should point out that there’s probably just as many people who hate
on Kevin Rudd and would happily bail if he was to win, but their outdated copper internet connection means they aren’t as hot on Twitter as
@KRuddMP.
