The ‘Activewear’ Gals Are Back With A Rap About Their Big Ol’ Bloody Periods

Last year, an Australian skit crew’s piss-take on the ubiquitousness of tight yoga pants went proper viral.
Activewear, a 1:49 minute skit featuring women doing pretty much nothing in their sports gear, clocked over 30 million views, with yuge names like Ellen, Sofia Vergara and Anne Hathaway jumping aboard the spandex train.
too real

The team behind the OG masterpiece, Skit Box, are back at it again, this time with a newie called ‘I Got That Flow’.
If the name coupled with their approach to humour didn’t give it away, it’s a straight up ode to P E R I O D S
The vid’s littered with gloobs of goodness, including “I can’t go on that first date, ’cause I am dripping ovulate,” and “It’s spread all throughout my panties, so I’m glad they weren’t fancy.”

Same.
The choon’s got an obvious purpose; it’s a big rude finger to people who shame women for talking about (and having) their glorious, life-giving rags. “Can’t handle the natural blood I leak, but you watch violent UFC,” is a choice little point that should resonate with a few period-havers after this weekend.
“If you think me talking about my flow is wrong, well that’s the whole reason why we wrote this song, it’s here and it’s gonna make our vaginas looks like that corridor from The Shining, raps Greta. Stunning imagery.

If that’s got you craving more like you crave d’Affinois on your cycle, the troupe’s brand spanking new show, Wham Bam Thank You Ma’am, drops on ABC2 and iView on December 8th
