It might be the end of the season, but ‘Married At First Sight‘ is nowhere near finished phunking with our hearts.

Susan was one half of the couple that we all truly fell in love with only to have our hearts torn out, Bart Simpson-style, by a shock breakup at their final commitment ceremony. People were MAD AT SUSAN about this.

But today Susan has told News.com.au that her “husband” Sean is not who he was made out to be.
Look, I know that reality TV is heavily edited to make things appear one way when they are in fact the total opposite, but I was fully committed to Susan and Sean. Look at them! They are In Love!!

But the truth is: no, they’re not. Apparently Susan was willing to give it a red-hot go, but Sean was… less so.
Susan said that while she tried to lock in dates to see each other and keep the relationship alive, Sean was evasive in a uniquely horse farmer-y way.
“I was completely ready, and his exact response [was], ‘I’m too busy breeding my horses that weekend’. And I went, what? And he said, ‘I’m too busy breeding my horses that break. I’m going to a rodeo on the weekend and I want my horses bred that break and I need to be out there breeding them with the stallions’.“And then I found out later that Simon actually went up and visited him on that break and they went to the rodeo together and had a lovely time.”

She also suggested that Sean was just in it for the money! (All MAFS contestants got paid $200/day, which ain’t nothing, but it also really doesn’t seem like enough compensation for having to hang out with narcissists, psychopaths and blatant gaslighters for 14 hours a day while “experts” watch you and dissect your every move.)
The final nail in the coffin of our collective romantic hopes?
“At the end of the episode they go, ‘Is it really over between Sean and Susan?’. Of course it was.”
Nothing is real, love especially.
