Sun dried human being and dedicated all-animal-print-everything enthusiast Roberto Cavalli will pretend to be interested in horseracing and grace the Italia-appropriate Lavazza Marquee at this year’s Melbourne Cup Carnival, it has been announced. The Shane Warne endorsed fashion designer and recent Target Australia collaborator is slated to attend Flemington Racecourse November 3rd on Derby Day where he will apparently hold court with “a host of models and the local fashion fraternity”, whatever that means.
Cavalli joins previously announced guests including Nicole Kidman, Prince Charles and Camilla, Kim Cattrall and fictional characters Ketut and Marissa Cooper.
