If you’re into shoe porn this is the footwear bukkake mother load.
Sydney heroes Romance Was Born’s evocative MBFWA presentation Monday night was, as it always is, delightfully outlandish and empowered by an immoveable sense of theatre. A lot of that can be attributed to the fantastical sets, the alien-like hair accoutrements and the eye-popping prints. But cast your gaze to the floor and there were entire universes contained within the shoes, too. Thank Sydney based footwear label Shoes of Prey who collaborated with RWB design duo Anna Plunkett and Luke Sales and show stylist Caterina Scardino to create 37 original shoes for their triumphant, mushroom themed runway presentation.
Three customisable styles (choose between blue, gold and purple colourways) are now available for purchase on Shoesofprey.com, with shoppers able to pick and choose the frill and upper colours, of which there are many. If that’s still not enough for you, the remaining 34 styles worn during the show are available for your ogling pleasure below.
The shoes start from $299. Looking is free.
