Meghan Markle’s Latest Dress Cost Slightly More Than A Slab Of VB

Meghan Markle, The Duchess of Sussex, is nearing the end of her downunder tour with Prince Harry, but she’s still serving up those ~lewks~ like it ain’t no thang. For her latest public appearance, Meghan landed in New Zealand wearing her most affordable outfit yet.

Megs and Hazza disembarked their private jet looking bloody adorable. While Harry looked his regular, dapper self in a charcoal-hued suit, Meghan opted for a more adventurous high street outfit that also broke one of the cardinal royal style rules.

Far from a ball-breaking sum, the maternity dress costs a humble $76. Yes, you read that right. Meghan’s latest royal outfit cost about 20 bucks more than a slab of VB – a woman after our own hearts.

As is the case with practically every single outfit worn by Meghan Markle, the dress has almost completely sold out, because of course.

The slightly more-fitted, non-maternity version of the dress, with a split up the leg, has already been snatched up by keen beans.

Apart from being incredibly budget-friendly, Meghan’s ASOS dress is particularly notable for another reason. Why? Because, ICYMI, the LBD also broke another royal style rule, with a hemline finishing above the Duchess’ knee.

We’re very here for this tbh.

Meghan paired the dress with matching black pumps and a longer plaid trench, complete with a poppy badge on the lapel.

Naturally, they were instant mates and already started cracking jokes on the tarmac at Wellington International:

God this is such a mood. If this picture doesn’t give you total FOMO, nothing will.

After leaving the airport, Meghan and Harry made their way to Government House for a traditional welcome ceremony.
