The Kardashian family have gone into radio silence following Kim‘s robbery at gunpoint in Paris on Monday, with Kim, Kanye, Khloe, Kendall, Kourtney and Kylie all staying clear of social media.
Experts are suggesting that the thieves would have likely been made aware of both her location and of the prospective spoils from her posts on social media (including a post on Snapchat just hours before it took place):
One of her ex-bodyguards has warned against her “flaunting” her riches on social media and suggests she should step back, but also a) it’s kind of her whole job and b) he’s suggesting it might be an inside job and might still be somewhat disgruntled from when he was let go.
This is not the first they’ve dealt with these issues. season 12 of ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians‘ showed the rest of the family getting upset with Kylie over her lax security habits, with Kourtney saying:
“There’s been a guy following Kylie and she isn’t taking it seriously. Kylie is so huge on social media. She’s one of the most followed people on Snapchat, which shows your location instantly. It’s not safe.”
All in all I can’t imagine it’s been a great time for anyone in the family, or for Kanye fans, after he cancelled shows on his tour in light of what happened to Kim, because he’s a good-ass husband.
