Justin Bieber and “Uncle Will” Smith Photo Takes Out Instagram’s Most Liked Post Of 2013

Disappointing news has emerged today, as CEO of Instagram Kevin Systrom has announced that the most ‘liked’ photo on the app belongs to the young miscreant and terrible street artist, Justin Bieber

Beliebers can rest easy and rejoice in the fact that their enthusiastic <3-ing prowess has earned them the top spot of over 1.5 million likes – reaching above even one of Instagram’s most notable moments of 2013 – the official unveiling of Kimye’s royale bb, North West; a picture whose ‘likes’ currently  total 1.48 million.

Alas, a picture posted by Justin Bieber with Will Smith captioned “Me and Uncle Will”, sans hashtags but most definitely with #filter, inexplicably took out first place. However, what’s more disappointing than this picture beating every other instagram picture out there is, really, Will Smith’s presence and apparent JB friendship. Mate. You’re better than that.

Kevin Systrom also announced that the most popular hashtag was “#love”, closely followed by “#selfie” and “tbt”; Instagram’s blog reveals that the most ‘grammed location of 2013 was the Siam Paragon shopping mall in Bangkok, followed by Times Square.

Presenting 2013’s most liked, but definitely not greatest, photo on Instagram.
